Pentair plc (NYSE: PNR), London, UK, reported second-quarter sales of $941.1 million, a 31.9% increase compared to the year-ago period. Second-quarter profit was $132.1 million, up from $72.1 million in 2Q 2020.
Consumer solutions sales were up 44% compared to sales for the same period last year. industrial and flow technologies sales were up 17 % compared to sales for the same period last year.
For the first six months, Pentair reported sales of $1.8 billion, up 27% from the same period in 2020. Profit of $260.7 million marked an 80% improvement from 2020.
