2,500 Members, 300 Events
The Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce has always been a progressive chamber—and a national leader in incorporating new ideas and technology into the chamber experience. In fact, they were one of the first chambers in the country to employ a mobile app for members.
Increasing Engagement for Members
With 2,500 members, and up to 300 events/year, the Greater Kansas City Chamber wanted to find new ways to increase member-to-member engagement, as well as make it easier for consumers to engage with their members. They also wanted to drive higher attendance at membership events by making them more visible, and making the RSVP process easier.
Driving Event Attendance
The Chamber worked with Moblico to enhance their mobile app offering for members. Moblico developed a native Android and iPhone solution that offers rewards and push notifications for members to interact with the Chamber more frequently and easily—and to quickly find information about other members.
Selling Point for Sponsorships
Today, the Chamber app acts as a selling point for sponsorships and rewards members for attending events. It also provides important information—such as calendars, news, feeds, and event registrations—in a single source for users.
