Attendance Grows at Sports Events
Wisconsin Lutheran College (WLC) wanted to strengthen support, attendance, and engagement at sporting events. The college prides itself on cultivating leadership skills and creating a strong sense of community. With no active mobile program in place, they decided to create a brand new
one that could be used to reward athletic fans.
Fans Win Points + Get Prizes
Moblico built a custom mobile engagement, loyalty, and monetization program from the ground up. Named the WLC Warriors Mobile App, it provides a variety of engagement channels -including QR code scanning, short codes, and location-based communications. The goal? Get fans to accumulate points—by attending games and participating in activities. They can earn more points throughout the game, then redeem them at the Pro Shop for sweatshirts and other Warriors gear.
Better Marketing Decisions
The Warriors app consistently demonstrates very detailed ROI, helping sponsors and participants alike to make solid marketing decisions and investments. It uses intuitive analytics to track progress and successes, allowing the college to modify and build on their current programs. The app can also be changed and adapted to accommodate the evolving needs of the fans, the athletic department, and the school.
