Boise-based hardwood flooring products distributor R&R Hardwood Distributors, Inc. has been sold to a private investor, according to Generational Equity, a mergers-and-acquisitions advisor for privately held businesses.
The acquisition closed in September, but Generational Equity announced the sale Thursday.
Financial details were not disclosed. The private investor who purchased R&R was not named.
R&R’s product lines include unfinished hardwood, prefinished hardwood flooring and associated equipment and finishing supplies.
For more than three decades, R&R has developed an outstanding reputation in the marketplace for the breadth of products offered, its technical knowledge, and the timely delivery of products, Generational Equity said.
The company caters to the residential sector but is expanding into the commercial market.
“It was a perfect fit,” said Radny Limani, Generational Equity’s senior M&A advisor. “We look forward to seeing how the Company grows in the future.”
