Advance U.S. selected services total revenue for the third quarter of 2021 was $4,524.9 billion, an increase of 3.7% over 2021’s second quarter and 15.2% over the third quarter last year, according to a report from the U.S. Census Bureau.
The first quarter of 2021 to second quarter of 2021 percentage change was revised from the preliminary estimate of 3.9% to 3.8%.
Advance U.S. utilities total revenue for 2021 3Q, not adjusted for seasonal variation or price changes, was $168.1 billion, an increase of 16.2% over 2021 2Q and up 5.9% from 2020 3Q.
Advance U.S. transportation and warehousing revenue 2021 3Q, not adjusted for seasonal variation or price changes, was $304.0 billion, an increase of 9.2% from 2021 2Q and up 36% from 3Q 2020.
Advance U.S. information sector revenue, not adjusted for seasonal variation or price changes, was $524.3 billion, an increase of 1.3% from 2021 3Q and up 15.9% from 2020 3Q. The first quarter of 2021 to second quarter of 2021 percentage change was not revised from the preliminary estimate of 5%, the Census Bureau said.
