Specialty Building Products (SBP) — the Duluth, Georgia-based parent of U.S. Lumber and other businesses — on Monday announced it has inked a definitive agreement to acquire Reeb Millwork Corporation. Financial terms of the acquisition weren’t disclosed.
Bethlehem, Pennsylvania-based Reeb is a fabricator and supplier of interior and exterior doors. SBP said the deal to buy Reeb was the first step in its planned expansion into the growing door vertical. Following the completion of the acquisition, which is slated to close before the end of October, Reeb will maintain its existing brand name, geographic locations and management team led by Chief Executive Officer Scott Kerr.

Reeb operates six facilities across five locations while serving customers in more than 20 states. Reeb offers a portfolio of door and general millwork products. It uses an online configuration system to offer customers a range of customization options .Going forward, SBP and Reeb will work to offer the door portfolio across SBP’s entire footprint.
